OT: ITs Racing Season WooHoo

I am glad racing season is here. I love this time of the year you get the racing on Friday and Saturday nights an baseball is just around the corner. When I talk about racing Im not talking about Nascrap Im talking about real racing and thats dirt track racing

Glad to see you were talking about real racing. Dirt track racing is very exciting. Sadly, it's not a big thing here in Columbia. There are some great tracks up your way though.

Oh yea there are some great tracks up this way. The late models have been in GA/FL for the past 2 weeks racing and the racing down there has been awesome

OK so after 2 weeks in the lower part of GA adn then into Fl the World of Outlaws and the Lucas Oil late models head home for a good 3 weeks off to get ready for the upcoming season. The World of Outlaws are headed to TN for a couple of races coming up on March 8th they will be at Duck River Speedway in Lweisburg TN for a 10,000 to win show and then on March 9th they will head to Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville TN which they will be racing for 12,000

The Lucas Oil boys will head to will head to Atomic Speedway in in Chillocothe OH for the Buckeye Spring 50 and that will be a 12K to win show then they will head to the infamous Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown IN for the 22nd Anual Indiana Ice Breaker for another 12K up for grabs

As a former dirt racer myself I also love this time of the year. You haven’t been to a real race until you have dirt in your beer.

Cherokee opens up this Sunday Feb 24th with the 1st race of the season. Racing will start at 2 PM and then they will have another open practice on March 1st and then the Southern All Stars will come into town for the 1st Super late model show of the yera for March Madness and this race will be a barn burner and it has been a barn burner since the inception

Lancaster Speedway will open up March 9th for a Car Show from 11-2 and then go into an open practice. Their 1st race will be March 15th with a full racing program and then turn around and run March 16th with the Southern All Stars for 5K to win

Laurens Speedway will open up March 23rd and March 30th for test and tune sessions gates open at 12 with the practice session starting at 2 their 1st race will be April 6th

Did you race at the Chester track?
I raced at a lot of tracks around N.C and S.C but Chester was my home track. If they were still racing at Chester I would probably still be racing.
