All this noise and you only need to know one word about this whole situation.....
FACTORY...
That is what this school will become... with more popping up around the state. Coaches just want to coach and players just want to play. These schools afford them the best opportunities to hit the books for a minute, then get on the field/court/track and work on their craft. Unfortunately, only 8% will ever make a living from their chosen sport, but it won't stop the other 92% from trying.

Fan4Awhile, 1 SP for sure (offense position coach), 2 York for sure (1 Off. 1 Def.). These 3 have not been "announced" to my knowledge. One of the 3 will be a retiree
to the post about becoming a "factory", my response is AND?
maybe it's a different or better way, who knows, but until it is done it's hard to predict the impact. Competition is a good thing and gives people more choices that fit them best

onion rings, I assume the coaches are not teachers at York/Sp, retired or really young.....seeing that charter schools aren't part of Sc retirement. I think basketball & some minor sports might do well, Football might, not sure about how attractive 2A football sounds....might be factory before its over
