Sumter: 8-2...even though it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they run the table in the regular season again. Rock Hill and Blythewood on the road will be tough ones. Conway, Northwestern, and to a certain extent Irmo (depending on how well they’re coached up) will be some tough home games as well. We’ll be dangerous offensively, but need to see how our defensive line and DBs develop, outside of O’Donnell Fortune.

And what is the one loss that you are predicting? And if you could, explain why you feel that game would be lost.Fortfor5 wrote:9 and 1 .

Greer
Northwestern
Hough, NC
Region II
Boiling Springs
Dorman
Gaffney
Hillcrest
Mauldin
Riverside
Spartanburg
Greer at Greer could be a difficult opener. We will be very new on the defense and we should be in good shape on offense.
I can see 3-0 heading into Region Play.
Region II is tough. Dorman and Gaffney are two that you have to list as potential losses. Spartanburg at home is always interesting with Miller coming "home" to his second home. Boiling Springs is a total question mark for me. I know absolutely nothing about them this year. Hillcrest is rebuilding, and Mauldin played better at the end of the season, but I"m not sure they are back. Riverside... well, it would be a great story if they won more than 2 games all season.
I'm going to say Byrnes will be 7-3 or if the D comes around 8-2. If the D plays better than I expect, 9-1 is possible.
Now as for the losses, I don't know and if we are all honest, no one knows. It's hard to predict all the changes on ten teams, especially when you don't even know one of team's location or mascot......

North Central at best 9-1 with Lamar likely to struggle but with its own set of growing pains worse case 6-4

I'm not sure we will lose but viera at home will be a test.FortFan9 wrote:And what is the one loss that you are predicting? And if you could, explain why you feel that game would be lost.Fortfor5 wrote:9 and 1 .
It was close game last year.i know what we have I dont know what they have.

It's possible Fort can go 10-0 the with as much as we have returning plus a team that is hungry. Glynn Academy and Viera will be the toughest teams. Viera do return their Johnny manziel clone, but lost the top two wrs who gave us fits.

Gaffney could easily go 15-0 and be state champs with the talent they have coming back. So here is my prediction of the Indians without my black and gold colored glasses on. If we get the big head early we could be 7-3 with losses to Mallard Creek Byrnes and Dorman

The Creek is rising and rebuilding. We are a tough hard nosed team. I see 8-2 overall and region champs. The Berkeley win will be the catalyst too. Slicker will go into hiding and re-emerge wearing gold and black.
The CREEK is rising GO GATORS!
