It has certainly been a long off season but my favorite time of the year has finally arrived. My life has been exciting as off late with the birth of my first grandson. I have also had some nervous weeks worrying about my wife as she has been battling a medical problem. Hopefully the worse is over with brighter days ahead. Friday night football could not have arrived at a better time. So ready to just get away and enjoy watching my favorite team on the field while reuniting with all the friends I have met online and at the games. Cannot wait until next Friday so I can see this year's version of the Summerville Greenwave as they compete in the Dorchester County Showdown.

Lol....would love to have Coach Reedy on our sideline. He is an amazing coach as evidenced by the success of Goose Creek while he was there. I heard he was only there for a radio broadcast. If you ever get the chance, check out his restaurant called The Comeback Shack off hy78 in North Charleston.

Fort is definitely the team to beat in the lowcountry this year.....but they were last year too .

New mentality for the fort this year. kids are gonna be focused, it's all about finishing. Think the kids got too relaxed last year and it caught up to them. They're not gonna make that mistake this year
