First off it was very hot out, but fort has tons of work to do. You can tell it was the first scrimmage, lots of mistakes on both sides. Sumter has some speed on both sides of the ball. They.have a nice passing game. The running game was so so. Their kicker is gonna be a weapon. You won't return many kickoffs. As for fort, we have ton of speed on offense, but it all start up front. The line need serious work. Also the intensity was missing as if they didn't feel like playing. Sumter came to play we didn't. Score was 17-7 in favor of Sumter. Fort will be fine. This team is going to be dangerous if the line does it's job. We have playmakers

Thanks for your perspective on the scrimmage. You are correct, it starts up front. I think the coaching change with the o-line should not have been made. Coach Still should have stayed with the o-line, the linemen he coaches always produce.

Plus they were moving the line all over .switching tackle center guards around.may have had a effect also.

I agree with you fortfan9. Coach still should had been where he was. The way he broke down plays on the sidelines were key. The only change that should had been made was OC. Let coach raf focus on the rb and let charpia be the OC/Qb coach. Another thing. I would love to see sabb just let it rip. He has the talent. Turn that ball loose. He floats the deep ball. He turn it loose, that would make him that more letal

Also I think it's a cat and mouse game. Saw I think was a good creek coach. Had his shirt.inside out. Lol. So I think laprad may have done that by design

Scrimmages are about learning strengths and weaknesses against a team that presents great competition. Fort did well today being first live action, now they see what needs to be fixed or worked on. Hopefully coaches will be shuffled to better teach positions, the correct way. In the end we will be okay, kids have to gain confidence playing as a unit also.

Imo the oline needed more work. When the QBs had time to get the ball to the playmakers, great things.bappen. our 3rd Rb,looked real good out there. Not very big but has Alot of heart and tough. Laprad will have them ready

I also think goose creek brought some bad luck to us.
I mean when you have your goose creek shirt on inside out it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see you .lol
We will be fine.

Iron sharpens iron. Thank y’all for covering the scrimmage. Sounds like we may have improved some after the thrashing Dorman gave us last week.
