Well slick they are all kids all kids make mistakes.
But how many years can ya play victim before its called bs.
Its simple .yeah our kids do things sometimes so do thiers.the logical conclusion would be to say yeah.we did some dirt.and go on with life.but to believe your team never does anything wrong or is always the victim is delusional. Theres a lot of delusions at memorial stadium.....to be continued.

Slick stirring the pot

. Can someone please share my post where I said we did nothing wrong in that scrimmage? Here are the facts, Summerville received 0 unsportsmanlike penalties while FD had multiple. I agree with Wavefan70(aka fortfor5) in that these are kids playing in a scrimmage. The goal is to see how your team competes against another team and make improvements for the regular season. No doubt the FD coaching staff will have discussions with several of their players who lost their cool during the scrimmage. Summerville needs to work on deep coverage because we let FD wideouts get open on 2 occasions but led to 0 FD points due to the players being overthrown. If not for an early interceptio thrown by Summerville's young QB, this one could have easily ended in a 0-0 tie. Overall, I was pleased with what I saw on the field with a very green defense against what will likely be the best offense we will see in the regular season.

Never said you said.and yes we got flagged.
But in another post we were refered to as most undisciplined team in the state.yet we havent been banned from
Preseason jamborees or had trouble with the highschool league like another team has.so this doesn't add up.no saints my friend
I liked what i saw aswell.we arent firing on all cylinders yet.i saw one less team i have to worry about in conference.
Also the coaching choice over the applicants going with j.c. in stead of a big named coach.no way uou can be happy with that.
Slicker was right in his prediction.

No trouble with the high school league? Which of our teams had to forfeit a regular season game last? Yes, Fort D just last year. All teams have their moments they are not proud of. This thread however was started pertaining to last night's scrimmage. FD was clearly the team with a chip on their shoulders and they were rewarded with multiple unsportsmanlike penalties as a result. That same type of performance against a veteran team such as Dutch Fork will result in another playoff loss. That is why we play scrimmages. Learn from it and move on.

In my reply I didn't say the wave were the model program there have been a few issues no doubt.
But I have watched fort the past few years and a lot of the games were against teams not named Summerville.
And in all those games no doubt Fort hands down had the more talented athletes and a lot of the games should not have been close. But they have an issue with unsportsmanlike penalties and they tend to start adding up and kids start losing focus of why they are on the field. Doesn't mean they are bad kids ..just means they lose focus and get side tracked.Fort has the athletes to play for state every year.and should be .
Go Wave...

Video proof.how dare he hit that guys hand with his shoulder.
Slick knows ....smh if your team or our team has to play at dutch fork we have to play the refs too.last year they were legit the year before they were given the chance to play fir state on a zebra colored platter.and i had no dog in the fight at that point.
Been all over the state have seen bad calls but damn.
Coach running the hashmarks then spotting the ball absolutely disgusting.

And the path to a state championship will head back through DF again this year I believe as DF had to travel to play at Summerville last year in the playoffs. All the more reason to not give the refs a reason to throw a flag. Emotions get high in rivalry games and you know if FD were to play at DF this year, that would be the case. We have an entire season of football to play to get there, but for Lower state, FD vs DF is a likely matchup.
