My Beaufort Eagles will open up the 2019 Football Season with a trip to AC Flora. This will be Beaufort's first ever trip to AC Flora. The Teams have only played once before and that was last season with Beaufort taking the 35-21 win at Beaufort. Both teams will have new head coaches this season. Bryce Lybrand who was Beaufort's Offensive Coordinator last season is the Eagles New Head Football Coach. Beaufort returns 8 starters on Offense this season. So the Eagles should be really good on that side of the ball. Beaufort returns Sophomore QB Tyler Haley who split time at QB last season and really good RB James Dagin. Just by my observations I think Haley has the chance to be one of Beaufort's best QB's ever. Haley is a Lefty who can really throw a football and with all the playing time that he got last season as a Freshman, he has the tools to be a really good QB.

But the Eagles only return 3 starters back on Defense. So Beaufort's defense will be the question mark. If the Eagles "D" can play good then I think that Beaufort will have a great season. The Eagles have another tough schedule this season though.

As for AC Flora I really don't know anything about them except from looking at last years roster and they lost a ton of Seniors. Does anyone have any info on AC Flora?

What is everyone's thoughts and predictions on this game? I think it will be a great game to start out the 2019 season. I will give my prediction later on in the week.

Wow...y’all that bad Penguin? I wouldn’t even throw my Bobcats under the bus that quick!!

Beaufort had an all-pro defensive back for a head coach last year. The defense sucked. He is gone as are most of the players. We will average giving up close to 40 a game this year. Offense may be ok, but we can't score enough to cover up for not being able to stop anyone. 3-8, or worse for my Eagles.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I hope that he is right but I fear that he is not.

Not sure if you will be attending that game but Richland One has done a heck of a job upgrading all of their football facilities. Went from the absolute worst in the state to facilities that would rival some 4A and 5A high schools.
