North Augusta Max Points for 2013?
Since they were the only one that I got wrong last year. :(
I figured that I would start with them.

I see you have them at 46.5 max points.
They only play 2 'Big 16' opponents (Sumter and Dutch Fork) in SC that gives them .5 + .5 = 1 pt extra).

The two GA schools that they play...
Greenbrier, GA (1681) http://www.maxpreps.com/high-schools/gr ... hedule.htm
Grovetown, GA (1473) http://www.maxpreps.com/high-schools/gr ... hedule.htm

Enrollment #'s here: http://app.doe.k12.ga.us/ows-bin/owa/ft ... r=totalasc

They both play 5A ball in GA (according to MAXPREPS), but their enrollment #'s would only be considered 4A in this state,
What are they considered by our point system?

I haven't bothered to update the out-of-state school's points yet. At the Shrine Bowl last year JCGator told me that the SCHSL provides the schools with an official list of how many points the OOS schools are worth, I figured I would just wait and get the official numbers from someone.

The answer is where would they be in South Carolina? If they have more students than the #16 school in South Carolina, they are conisdered the same as Big 16. So basically, just insert them where they fall on the list.

Where it gets tricky is when they are an all boys school or they have a 9th grade school where students are feeding into multiple high schools...

Thanks SF. That would be good. :)
Hope we can get that info.

Thanks.
I believe that I found what I had wrong for N. Augusta's points last year.

I had N. Augusta opponent Grovetown,GA listed as 3A instead of 4A.

:geek: At Playoff time, the latest enrollment data online for GA was from March 1, 2012.
http://app.doe.k12.ga.us/ows-bin/owa/ft ... r=totalasc
Grovetown High (1345) - 3A size in SC.

:ugeek: Actual latest enrollment data for GA would have been from October 2, 2012.
http://app.doe.k12.ga.us/ows-bin/owa/ft ... r=totalasc
Grovetown High (1518) - 4A size in SC.

This would change NA's points for that game from 3 pts to 4 pts. 8-)

I noticed that looking at Valdosta, GA enrollment last year. :ugeek: :ugeek:

Valdosta High enrollment (1736)- only 4A in SC size but they are 6A in GA for a reason.
Pinvale Learning Center has 168 students listed from 9-12 grade.
http://app.doe.k12.ga.us/ows-bin/owa/ft ... r=totalasc

Valdosta Early College Academy is also listed in their District.
"The 2014-2015 school year hopes to see VECA as a 6-12 grade school with 250 students."
http://www.gocats.org/content.asp?pid=79&id=620

These additions would make them Big 16 in SC.
Thanks Rebel-Fan-74.
