The average points Dorman’s defense has allowed since the start of the season is 7. That average definitely went down after the scoreboard reflected a goose egg for Boiling Springs. This Dorman defense is definitely one for the ages.

Everybody's defense shuts down Boling Springs. They are just not very competitive this year.

Like he did the last 2 years right? Listen we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.

He wasn’t completely heathy the last two years, but he was as a freshman and a bad Byrnes team beat Dorman, with him running for around 200 yards. Harris is playing better this year, but the difference is the Oline. Byrnes hasn’t had an oline this big and good in at least 9-10 years.

I’m going to do a very smart thing. Until Byrnes is the next game on the schedule, I refuse to even think about the Byrnes-Dorman matchup, let alone discuss it. We can’t afford to look ahead! There’s still work to so before this game...

I wouldn't think to much on it either if I were you. Just knowing that the teams Dorman have played thus far have a combined 6 wins between them could cause some heartburn if you think to much on the Byrnes Dorman matchup. ;)

But...If its any comfort to ya. Byrnes opponents have not been much better. The game against Gaffney was most likely the biggest test Byrnes has had this season. I think the teams Byrnes have played thus far have about 9 wins total.

In closing....It appears that most(if not all) teams Byrnes and Dorman have faced to this point do NOT even have a .500 record.

You are right about the bad non-conference scheduling. Northwestern just didn’t work out...it was supposed to be a test for Byrnes and Dorman. They unfortunately weren’t...that program is not what it once was. Greer is no longer a competitive rivalry and Byrnes might consider removing them from their schedule. Dorman scheduling Wade Hampton is an absolute joke...nothing is gained from such a game. York is not a good opponent for Dorman either and it’s a long trip for nothing.
