Mason Rudolph impressive
24/28 tonight for 229 yards and 2 TDs for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Cincinnat Bengals for the former Northwestern Trojan. Regardless of what you might think of the NFL now, it’s still nice to see SC guys represent the state well at the highest level!

Agreed! I no longer watch the NFL, but I do like to see our SC kids succeed.NuclearCav90 wrote:24/28 tonight for 229 yards and 2 TDs for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Cincinnat Bengals for the former Northwestern Trojan. Re: Mason Rudolph impressive
I never have really liked the Steelers..a few players ive liked...Mason is one of them.
Dang dude lit Bluffton up in 2012 4A-D2 semifinal game for 44 pts in second half.
I think Ben retires and Mason is the new QB in Steeler land.

Against the bungles man.......the bungles. The Steelers have now won 10 straight against the bungles. I am a Steelers fan and I am stoked about having MR as our QB. Time for Ben to retire. His style of play has left him fragile and unreliable.
But this game is still just against the bungles. Next week against the buzzards will be a real test for him. Beat the buzzards and then only the clowns are left ahead of us.

The "Godfather" didn't whine like The "Slobfather" is doing, when he got INDICTED!!!!!

Very unlikely as he was in the 8th grade when Northwestern and Berkeley played in the 2009 State Championship game.CITYSLICKER wrote:I WONDER IF HE REMEMBERS BRUCE ELLINGTON AND THE STAGS

You must be getting senile in your old age, Rudolph didn't even play on that team. Worley was Northwestern's quarterback in 2009. That was Worley's junior season. Rudolph was in middle school.CITYSLICKER wrote:I WONDER IF HE REMEMBERS BRUCE ELLINGTON AND THE STAGS
On another note, I know you are mighty proud of the 2009 Berkeley Stags, but not every post has to do with them.
If you want to make a poke at Rudolph, then say, I bet he remembers the Greenwood Eagles. (he lost to them in the 2012 state championship game as a junior).
