THE BIRDS ARE SINGING, THE FIELDS ARE PAINTED AND ANOTHER FRIDAY NIGHT WITH THE BOYS OF FALL, IT IS AMAZING HOW QUICKLY THE SEASON RUNS, NEED TO GO BACK AND MAKE IT 11 GAMES NOT 10, HOPE YOUR TEAM HAS A GREAT NIGHT CEPT FOR THEM WANDOE WARRIORS. ITS TIME TO GET IT ON AGAIN.

I'm looking foward to the game tonight as we go up against NAFO. i'm a little bit worried tho as I don't think the the Bluebirds are as battle tested as they think they are. I hope they prove me wrong because we've been here before.

Well the Blue Eagles did prove me wrong. Game was back and forth for the first half and we made some adjustments then pulled ahead for the second half. 42-27 final score. Defense was outstanding as usual but the team as a whole need to limit those penalties. Northwestern coming up next weekend at D3. The boys showed a lot of grit tonight and made me feel a lot better moving forward in region play.

Penalties??? My Goodness....Must’ve been 20 flags on Clover tonight and 15 on NAFO!!! I dont think Clover has enough horses in the barn Cloverfan to hang with Byrnes, Gaffney, etc...BUT...that is why they play and your d-line is STOUT and can pressure the crap out of ANY QB....only time will tell.

You’re probably right about Clover going up against region 2, but I’m going to ride the Blue Eagle train as far as it will carry me. If Clover would clean up those penalties the outcome of the games would look a whole lot different. I guess Coach Lane doesn’t spend any time at all worrying about discipline which imo will come to roost if we make the playoffs. Even the Byrnes posters have said that was a big issue during his tenure there. Glad you were able to make to the game!
