Conway gets offense rolling in win over West Florence

Conway returned to its roots Friday night and used a punishing ground attack to trip defending region champion West Florence by a 41-38 score at E. Craig Wall Jr. Memorial Stadium.

The Tigers hit the Knights with a 1-2 running punch featuring Donovan Singleton and Michael James.

Overrated, but dropping like a rock after losses to Camden, Wilson and now Conway.

The week 10 rivalry game with us could turn out to be a real barn-burner.

I thought a Jody Jenerette team would be better than that. Weakest WF team in several years. Just for the record both teams are not any good at all. This region is the weakest 5A region by far and it doesn’t change anything as far as Conway is concerned. We will probably win one or two more and make the playoffs but we still need a coaching change.

Coaching change....coaching change....you say coaching change?!?!?!?!
Please!!! There's some that are happy to be 1-4....shot its region play time now!!! They just getting revved up!!

But I and a lot more agree a change is needed. The good ole boy system is broken and needs to be replaced in Conway.
There's some that'll get excited about winning a few region games, a very weak region, but it's all for nothing. Change is needed!!!

Only thing holding Conway back from being as good as we want is a championship coaching staff. I hope our new AD makes good on his promise. Just making the playoffs ain’t good enough anymore. We are going to compete for state championships. It’s been proven it can be done.
