Bluffton is coming in to this game with a record of 1-5. The Bobcats are avg. 27 points a game and giving up 48 points a game. Bluffton is coming off a 49-17 loss to Richmond Hill Georgia. The Bobcats have a record of 0-3 in away games so far this season.

Beaufort is coming in to this game with a record of 0-5. The Eagles are avg. 17 points a game and giving up 43 points a game. Beaufort is coming off a 38-24 loss to Effingham County Georgia. The Eagles have a record of 0-1 in Home Games so far this season.

Bluffton beat Beaufort last year 28-14 at Bluffton. Beaufort has a record of 3-1 against Bluffton at Home in this overall series. This is also Beaufort's Homecoming Game and The Eagles usually play well in their Homecoming Games.

I am so excited about this game. I always look forward to Beaufort's game with Bluffton. It should be a good close game. Both teams are struggling this season and both of their defenses are awful. So it really should be an exciting game. Massey has Beaufort winning this game 42-35, Calpreps has Bluffton winning 35-34 and Doodles has Bluffton favored by 3 points.

With this being Beaufort's Homecoming Game the stadium should be packed. The different Graduating Classes will be tailgating for this game. Kickoff is this Friday Night October 11th at 7:30 PM in Beautiful Beaufort Eagles Stadium also known as The Eagles Nest.

Bluffton's defense is terrible against the run. So I want to say now please Beaufort run the ball a lot in this game!!!! The Eagles RB'S and the QB should have a big night running the football. Bluffton has a very good QB though. So The Eagles "D" should be ready to defend the Pass and put some pressure on The Bobcats QB.

What is everyone's thoughts and predictions on this game???? Like I said it should be a good close game. I will give some more thoughts and My Prediction on this game later on in the week. .

Well BEF....the reigon crown will be the only jewel any team from our region can obtain this year as the playoffs will be 1 and done for any of our teams!!!

You are correct about our QB Kirkland...he can be squirrelly at times though but if he is on....49-7 Bluffton. Actually it will more like some weird number....29-25 Bluffton.

Final score: 75 to 69 for whichever one of these sorry excuses for a football team wins the coin toss. Neither one will stop the other one from scoring........neither one has stopped anybody else yet. 2 teams averaging giving up 50 a game. I have much better things to do with my money than to spend it watching this mess.

The Beaufort County School Board won't have any of that. They want all the money going to educators, adding a small stipend for those who are willing to add coaching duties to their regimen. That is why none of the 6 High Schools here can ever have a decent Head Coach for any sports teams. When I reflect back on the successful head coaches at Beaufort High over my lifespan, I can't remember a single one other than Mark Clifford, who wasn't a Beaufort area resident with ties to Beaufort High as a former player or manager. I fear that this is our legacy.........mediocre teams with mediocre coaches, despite having some of the best athletes in the state.

Hey Newcat. You are probably right on everything except who the winner of this game will be. . Both teams are struggling this season but hey anything can happen and one of these teams might catch fire and start a winning streak. You never know. This should be a fun game to watch. Hey Penguin. You should come to this game. It will be a fun one to watch. I am really looking forward to this game. It should be very high scoring and the last one with the ball will probably win it. Penguin you should still support this team even when we are down. I know this year has been frustrating so far but I still enjoy going to the games and supporting this team. I know Slicker and you said that we shouldn't have hired an assistant coach but hey all Head Coaches were assistants at one time before they became head coaches. You have to give them a chance.

Also these Eagle Players have been playing their butts off but still don't have a win to show for it. But you can tell they are still playing hard to get a win. This week starts the REAL SEASON for Beaufort and that is of course the Region games. Those 1st 5 losses don't really mean anything concerning the playoffs. So if Beaufort can win their 3 Region games they will be the Region 7 4A champs. As I have seen before a team can have a losing record entering the playoffs and catch fire and start winning. I have seen a team that finished 2-9 in the regular season and make some noise in the playoffs. So anything can still happen.

Penguin also wouldn't it be nice to see Beaufort beat Bluffton? Battery Creek, Bluffton and Hilton Head are the 3 opponents that I really love seeing Beaufort beat. .
