Woodruff at Union County for all the R3 3A marbles!

Woodruff is traveling to Union County to take on the Yellow Jackets in what is for all intents and purposes the Region 3-3A title. Woodruff enters with a 4-2 record and UC is 3-3. Both teams are scoring at a near identical rate on offense while the numbers show Woodruff is slightly better defensively.
The only common opponent, Chapman, defeated UC 52-37 and Woodruff 49-35.
Should Woodruff win, their remaining games with Emerald, Mid Carolina and Clinton do not appear to pose much of a challenge. Likewise with Union County, making this game the defacto region title match-up.
So, who you got? My prediction....
Woodruff 38, Union County 28

Union County has played a much tougher schedule so they’re battle-tested and will protect their house.
Union County 52 Woodruff 28

Sounds about like the same prediction you rolled out last year. That went well.

Whoa has it right. The Onions have played a very tough schedule. They win this one and make a lot of racket come playoff time. Wouldn't want to play them in November. Onions roll.

Being a Chapman fan I've seen both teams play this year and I would have to take Union County just based off of the QB position. Union County QB much more talented and athletic but both teams play extremely hard and DO NOT GIVE UP! Both teams down big at Chapman and both teams clawed their way back into the game forcing coach Hodge to quickly put the 1st string back on the field.
