i made this same post over on the old forums almost five years ago to the night. the fan base is ripping each other apart on facebook at this moment! what does it take to get a change? knowing that coach jones cant coach forever is the only thing keeping me sane. i cant tell you how many people said they wont be back until the school board cleans house and these are the most diehard fans that havent missed games in years! one man even said hed have his middle school aged son who is a great athlete transfer to blacksburg if dan jones is the head coach when he reaches high school. you have school board members saying that they are sick of this as they leave in the third quarter! when will the misery end?

Was it as bad as the score makes it sound?

it was worse! gaffney scored their only touchdown on the very last play of the game on what looked like dormans third string defense!

weve had one home playoff game in six years and two in the last seven. that aint gaffney football! one of those games these coaches blew our home playoff win streak that had lasted three decades!

That was the worst performance I’ve seen by a Gaffney team in a long time. The entire coaching staff is a joke to put it mildly. I can’t believe that we are stuck with this mess and nothing will be done. They’ve taken the winningest program in SC football history and turned it into a joke. All they give is excuses and Jones is the best at it. It’s pathetic.

I'll be honest, no disrespect intended but for what y'all trot on the field year after year I'm surprised gaffney isn't making it to Cola most years like you used to..... Greenwood going through the same thing but we lucked out with retirement of the coach

Gaffney get the right coach they would be a football factory. Am sure it will happen soon but it has felt like that for a few years now and no movement. May take someone willing to hurts some feelings over there, like a forced change, if of course they found the right guy with the right plan

Didn't Gaffney give Nationally Ranked Mallard Creek a run only losing by 7? The same MC that tied with the powerful DF team from Irmo. Could Byrnes just be that good? OR was it not about the loss so much; but "other things"?

I’m inclined to think Dorman and Byrnes are simply that great. Of course I’m biased.
