How Low Will A Coach Go To Win?

I have seen many comments by several of you that have talked about instances of cheating. Well I read a good one this morning about a coach who played a suspended player and tried to disguise him as another player. His tattoos (the player) gave him away and they fired the coaching staff, suspended the season and forfeited all their games. They were 7-0. For some coaches the price to win is too great, and the pressure is just as great.
Parent demands or expectations are sometimes (most of the time) unrealistic. What happened to the coach runs the team? Back when I was playing no one would dare question our coach whether we won or lost the way coaches are challenged today. Coaches are expected to perform miracles when kids today have so many more distractions and opportunities to do other things. The battle is real, and now in college with the transfer portal if you don't play or don't like the way a coach talks to you you can leave without even a discussion and in some case go play somewhere else without penalty. BS!!
The deal about coaches putting hands on a player and yelling at a player is part of football. I have been kicked in the butt a few times, seen a coach do a pullup on a 6'5" lineman's face-mask, seen clipboads broke over players helmets to get attention and NOTHING was questioned. We are nothing but P***ys when it comes to complaining about these coaches. The players know what kind of coaches they were before they got there.
Back when I coached I told kids you pick a school 1) Because you like the school and it is where you would want to be if you never played a sport. Injuries happen and it could happen to you. 2) Because they will do everything they can to make sure you graduate. Not every school follows through with that when it comes to ethnic kids or kids of lower academic situations.
Finding every advantage available to beat your opponent is important to give your team the best chance to win. That is done with Coaching, Training, Integrity, and Character. If you give up these values then you should give up on coaching. I look forward to many of your comments.
