Coaching carousel
It’s almost the end of the regular season and the carousel is about to get fired up. Besides Greenwood/emerald, topics that have their own thread, is there any other areas to keep an eye on? What coaches are close to retiring? By no means is this a thread to say who should be fired I never would advocate that.
Re: Coaching carousel
Could be a big year for changes. Once we get to the end of the season think a couple big dominos will fall and that will start a cycle that will take months to end
Re: Coaching carousel
Conway needs a change real bad. I’m just hoping our region being so weak forces us to give him another year.
Re: Coaching carousel
There could be a Major Domino fall heading to Georgia if the job offer is right. Curious if a certain coach in Charleston will hang up his coaching hat too!
Re: Coaching carousel
Will the changes come because of poor records or better opportunities?

I can do better than what we got
Re: Coaching carousel
With the unfortunate news at Berea it could be the first.
Re: Coaching carousel
Wow. Berea seems to be in disarray. The AD head basketball coach resigned earlier in the week. Tough spot for all involved.
Re: Coaching carousel
Berea is in disarray. What he did wasnt right, but feel for Julius. He has had a tough couple of years.
As far as the Berea job, don't know if they will move on from Price or not. But if they, not the easiest job to fill. Berea isnt exactly the best football environment in the upstate. Not the same community it was during the success Wayne Green had years ago. Figure if it comes open officially, they will fall back on the old GC playbook of hiring an assistant who has been rolling around in the county and is considered deserving.
