SCPrepTalk SCHSL 3A Playoff Projections after Week 8

Newberry would be going to Camden for the first time since the 2001 Lower State Championship game. Chester at Woodruff would be an interesting game, especially if Chester gets their QB back. The lower half of the Upper State bracket looks like Union County should make it to the Upper State Final. I still think it's Chapman and everybody else in the Upper State.

The lower state has some potential for some great games. Still strange to see Dillon with a #2 beside their names. I fully expect them to Gilbert in round 3 with a spot in the Lower State Final on the line. Although, Wade Hampton might have something to say about that. Marion has only lost to Aynor and Dillon, can they give Gilbert a game in round 2? The top half of the Lower State bracket seems to set up a match up between Strom Thurmond and Aynor for the right to play the Dillon/Gilbert winner. Could May River derail either team?

I know a lot can still happen these last 2 weeks, there are some huge games this week that could change stuff around. The picture should clear up after the games this week.
