That probably seals the deal on Carlton Terry. I’m not one to advocate for a high school coach’s firing, but I would be surprised if he survives that.

CT is a great guy and very well respected as a person and former Tiger great. He’s just not a head football coach. Nobody wants to hurt him and the best thing that needs to happen to stop the bleeding is for him to step down and ask to go back to RB coach. Bring in a coach with championship experience and expectations. I love Coach Jordan and all he did for the community and football program but was never quite able to win a state championship. Four appearances and several more semi final games so it can be done here so I was hoping when he retired we would hire a coaching staff that could win it all but we’ve went backwards. The program is a sinking ship. In two years we’ve went from a contender every year to struggling to beat St James and Socastee. The JV team has two wins and a bunch of blowout losses. Stands are empty and the booster club has lost lots of members. Athletic department can’t survive without changes.

…and, it doesn't really matter. With wins over SF and WF, Conway has locked up 2nd place in region 6 and will host a home playoff game.
If Mason Garcia doesn't show up for next week's game for some reason, Conway could defeat Carolina Forest and actually win the region championship.

There is some that will want to give this staff another season if that happens!!! I’ve seen enough to know it isn’t getting any better with this crew. This experiment needs to end now!

We had well over 100 applicants last time including Tom Knotts and we didn’t even interview him. I was told the reason was on his application he didn’t want to teach or be an administrator. There’s ways around that but I guess we didn’t have the guts to try and make a deal. Knotts has a big beach house in Pawleys island and wants to retire near the coast.
