Believe we have set a record. Dont remember anybody being a 66 pt dog before. But that is the spread on Riverside/Dorman. They have a couple schools that are pretty decent, but Greenville County desperately needs to do something to bolster their football programs. You have five, or six, situations there that would probably drop football altogether if they could.

If I had to gamble on that spread, I’d take Riverside all day. Gutshall will not beat a team by 66 points...that’s just not his style. I think the final will be along the lines of 56-7. Dorman’s first string will probably be rested a majority of this one for the playoffs if I had to guess, so the margin might not even be that much.

I agree, but I've also seen both teams and unless you play the starters one drive and then the JV team, it could get ugly so quickly that he can't help but score that much. I hate it for the guys on Riverside, but the school doesn't put anything into the development of the team or support the team.

I'm not sure that Dormans JV team couldnt cover the 66 on Tiverside if they tried. I agree, Gutshall will be very merciful and keep it around 50-7, but if they wouldnt have a running clock I'd bet he could score 100 if he wanted.

Those kids that continue to suit up for Riverside are full of character and courage. I commend them for sticking with that team through all the humiliating losses and low points they’ve had to endure. Hopefully they will be better for it one day. And shame on Greenville County and Riverside High School for their lack of support for them.

Totally agree. Those kids that stick it out Riverside have to have earned everyone's respect. Tough to be in a situation such as they are. Now everybody cant have a Dorman, Byrnes, type program. But a shame the program is where it is. And very telling that some of the worst football teams in the state seem to be in Greenville County.
