Sucks to see the season end last night, but we played a great team in Saluda. Their QB is no joke, that kid can flat out play some football! Buford ended the season 9-5 (6-0). We have been undefeated in our Region the last 2 years, been a while since we have had success like that.
On a personal note, the season was full of heart break and joy for me and my family. For the 2nd straight year, one of my younger brothers Tanner Vespe #33 tore his ACL which broke his heart because he is a senior..... He will miss playing with his friend in basketball and baseball again too. Then the joy of the season was watching my youngest brother Tyler Vespe #1, he is a running back for Buford.... he definitely came into this own this year, he was MVP for Buford Middle School Football and Jv, but this year was something special for him. If your team played Buford then you know who is was.

Does Buford have alot of returning starters? I may have to come watch a game next year down there...I like the old Pizza Inn buffet in Lancaster ( 1 syllable yall..not 2)

There's one in Conway about a mile past the high school on 501.Now that I think about it, CiCi's is the only pizza buffet left in Florence.
