Please share your evidence of the "toxic situation" as noted above. I think most will agree there were issues last year, but Coach Wofford and the new AD/administration seem to have really changed things in the 9 or so months he has been on the job.No Fly Zone wrote:So we know Joe Call is trying to get this job, but a name to keep an eye on:

He might try to get out of toxic situation at NW and come home to Charleston to coach where his career started.
I didn't say it was a better job. That's laughable.FootballFan4343 wrote:Please share your evidence of the "toxic situation" as noted above. Secondly, as someone who lives here, I can tell you Northwestern is set-up MUCH better to succeed than Wando. Northwestern has a football tradition, whereas Wando does not. Plus Wando has Oceanside taking their best football players at will. Thus far, the Rock Hill schools have done a solid job in making sure their best players aren't leaving for charter schools.
I am not sure there is anyone on this board (or this state), for that matter, that would argue that Wando is a better job than Northwestern. Even before Oceanside, Wando still couldn't compete at a high level, even with 4,000 students.
And again, I don't question where he is from. I simply am asking for your evidence on the "toxic situation" at Northwestern as you called it. According to your comment, Wofford potentially leaving for Wando would have more to do than just "come home". You said he could "get out" of a "toxic situation". So what is your evidence of the "toxic situation"?No Fly Zone wrote:I didn't say it was a better job. But Wofford is from Charleston and Wando is where he started out in coaching. If he wants to come back, he'll have a shot to.
Northwestern is built on instability right now, no matter what you think. Their HC has one of the shortest leashes in the state.FootballFan4343 wrote:And again, I don't question where he is from.
