Laurens has there new coach. Better watch out for the Raiders this coming year. They could easily take region 2

Laurens lost some key seniors this past season. Greenwood or Greenville will win region.

Sorry to tell you but this region has better teams in it than last year's region 1 5A. Laurens still may have an good team however there's, Greenville, Eastside, Greer is usually pretty good and My boyz of course. The Greenwood teams Laurens has seen the past 6 years have greatly underachieved with Pippen as the coach. Not to take anything from anyone else but the entire Greenwood community is hungry. Pippen starved this town to death of any hardware. Greenwood has been a sleeping giant that's finally about to come out of hibernation. Congrats for getting your new coach.

Good for Coach Smith. He will do well at Laurens. He will need to do some hiring as well with some of the staff going with Liner. That will be the key to his success.

Greenwood is going to be a major turnaround it’ll be 3 years before there even back to contention. Laurens has a lot of up and coming players. It’ll be a great region to watch

Personally knowing lined, he isn’t going to play athletes that aren’t good character and can stay out of trouble. He’s going to have to turn that locker room around before anything else

What does their schedule have to do with them being better than Laurens?
