Ashley Ridge Hire (Is this a JOKE?)
Is this a joke? Did we just hire the Waccamaw coach who had just 1 winning season in 3 years?

He's a young guy who just got his first big break. He did a lot of great things behind the scenes at Waccamaw. Got lucky this past year with a good group of athletes, something rare at Waccamaw, and a weak schedule. Will be interesting to see how he does at the 5A level. If nothing else he will give you everything he's got.

Let's also not pretend like AR has ever been a powerhouse.

He's gotta be better than the other finalist.

Come on now! 0-10 to 7-4 at Waccamaw and you are complaining? Stop pretending you know anything about what it takes to run a successful HS football program.

Just because it's a message board doesn't mean you have to hate every move while pretending to be "in the know".

This is a pretty good hire for AR. He "righted the ship" at Waccamaw, which is a school with no recent football tradition. That's the exact kind of coach AR needs right now.
