At this point I think it is doubtful that any spring sports will be played. I'm just hoping that things are stable enough for the seniors to cross a stage and accept a diploma in early June.

I watched a doctor last night that is working on a vaccine.
She says it will be at least next spring before they have
a vaccine. She also said she has no doubt that if the virus
gets under control this summer it will return in the fall.
now the question is if they let sports start in the fall.
Will people go knowing the chance they will be taking
of getting the virus or their kids and family getting sick.
would parents let their kids participate.
I guess we will know in a couple of months.
A teacher at Ninety Six Elementary school has the
virus.School is out so no danger to any kids. just
think about what could happen when school starts
this year and 1 person gets the virus.

Understand acting with an abundance of caution. But unless this thing kills hundreds of thousands I really don't think the American people are going to stand for the current conditions much longer. More folks die every day from heart attacks, cancer, car wrecks. But that is just viewed as the normal cycle of life and death taking its toll. And it is a cold blooded way of looking at it, but this country has to get back to work. The federal government can float people, and business, for a couple months, but thats about it. If we adopt the policy that we basically crawl into our shells until there is either a vaccine, or zero cases left, our economy will be the equal of Rawanda and the virus would be the least of our problems. And as they make rapid advances in testing, that will eliminate a large part of the issue. Those positive, and those with the issues that make them more vulnerable, should self quarantine. But the rest need to go on about their lives.

Slick to be honest they may be scared that they would infect you and that's why they stay that much further away from you.

Its either that or when they get around you they either smell something funny, weird or just straight up nasty or you look scary or funny too lol that last part is in jest and I am picking at you but seriously I think they are staying away to try and keep from infecting you
