Trimmed down Blue, Ford look to leave Dillon on high note

DILLON — Joe Blue and Damu Ford each laugh about the day they met each other for the first time back in elementary school at Stewart Heights. “ I was new to the school and we bumped heads back then, and now we are best friends,” Blue said.
The two good friends have been four-year starters as linebackers for the Dillon Wildcats, who boast one of the state’s top defenses. Dillon gave up just eight points a game in winning its third state title in the last five seasons in 2012.
