BEAUFORT IS GETTING ARTIFICIAL TURF!!!!

Beaufort High School will be getting New Artificial Turf for its Football Stadium "The Eagles Nest". Beaufort is also getting a New Track. Beaufort has always had Natural Grass in its Football Stadium. So I am really excited about Beaufort getting New Artificial Turf!!!! I can't wait to see it when they are finished. It is suppose to be done by the time Football Season starts in August. They just started on it not too long ago. Here are some pics of them starting on it:

Hey Cityslicker, Yes I live in Walterboro but you know that I am a BIG BEAUFORT EAGLES FAN and I go to ALL the Beaufort Football Games home and away. I have only missed 4 Beaufort Football Games in My whole years of living.
. I hope to attend many more Beaufort games before I leave My Temporary home on Earth and I hope to see Beaufort win a Football Title soon.

Hey Penguin. I sure hope that you are wrong about that. I am still hoping and praying that there will be football this season. We are still wondering how the Schools will be also and what we are going to do with My Daughter. I am not a big home school person but if we have to we will home school her. But I hope that they will be able to go back to school.
Plus I want to see them play Football this year because our Beaufort Eagles will be loaded this season and should have a really good year.

No football this year. Beaufort County Schools are already set on remote learning. Football means very little in the middle of a pandemic that affects everyone, not just fans, not just players, not just coaches and support staff. Sorry to tell you, but no football this year. Smarter heads have prevailed.

The high caliber program with the speed like Fort D should have had turf long ago. Wando already has it. A shame Stall, Academic Magnet High, Military Magnet Academy and North Charleston High will play on a turf field before Fort D has one!! Their new field looks great!!

i believe our coach may like grass better not sure im guessing may ask one day.
#2 what ever we get the dd2 board has to make sure the ville gets.thats the reality of it.we got a jumbotron they jad to get one.we are second fiddle to the dd2 board .ar is turd place.
Id love turf.yeah we all have to split money .the ville guys will talk about how the ville supports us and ar.
At one point it was probably true .today not so much.
We are the premiere program in the area .thats a hard pill to swallow for some as a lot including myself grew up a greenwave .we had some great times .lotta great memories.
Im enjoying thr sport a lot more these days.as i see kids playing ball for teams all over that i coached at earlier ages in other sports.
As well as my own kid playing ball.
One thing about turf though that crap gets hot as a mfer
In summer heat.

You are correct about the heat, about 10-15 degrees hotter on the field but no rainouts and no excuses for tearing up a field like last year! Plus it is great to play on year-round without having to worry about dips in the turf, watering, and having to spend time lining and painting it. Lexington is the only school that I am aware of that has turned it down.
