John L. Martin Stadium - Dorman

Curious if anyone has any pictures of John L. Martin Stadium (former Dorman stadium) other than this one.

I'm just old enough I can vaguely remember going to some games there.... but not old enough to truly remember the games or the stadium from anything other than this pic that I've found.

I remember those trees behind the visitor's stands would be rough when it rained. It was like they caught the rain and then dumped it on you.

I too stood thru a driving rain storm there....had on a full length army surplus poncho ...so I didn't get wet but I think I drown twice....no way they keep playing in that these days...if I remember it was great game won by " the good guys"....

Coached there when we were #1 in the state and Dorman number 2. They stood all around the stadium. My mom parked about a mile away. One of the best games I coached in. Unfortunately, we decided we needed to throw when we had a stud TB that rushed for over 150. He would run over Dorman until we got to the 20. Then we passed.
