“For the sake of all our students and staff’s safety, we will be following DHEC’s recommendation to have all varsity football players considered close contacts quarantine during the next 14 days,” according to the release. “Any student within close contact of the asymptomatic students has also been notified by Broome High School.

The student that tested positive is asymptomatic, presumably the rest of the team (now under quarantine) is also asymptomatic. What do they do if they are all still asymptomatic at the end of 14 days? Are they going to test them all before allowing them to practice again?

Maybe do a 2nd test on the student, false positives aren't unheard of.

Ok so here is a stupid question What does that mean for the jamboree that will be happening at Gaffney they are scheduled to play Landrum and i am guessing that won't happen now so now what do they find another team for Landrum or do they just let Landrum stay home
