.................If 2020 has taught us anything, expect the unexpected..........
..............With that in mind, let's project 2020's effect for the season...........
5A - Upper State
Riverside upsets Dorman in Week One
setting up the craziest season we've ever seen.

OK, I doubt even Covid will cause that much craziness....
5A - Upper State looks to be the same cast of characters from recent years. I see possible cast members added to the script; however, when it all is said and done, I find it hard to believe that Dorman & Gaffney will not be cast in the starring role in the Columbia Production of 5A Upper State Championship.
Possible supporting roles, in no particular order, would be:
Clover - lost a great deal of offensive production and a Sullivan to Beasley once in a lifetime duo {many of you are going to have to Google that reference}. Will they reload or fade away? I think we may learn a lot about them in the first week.
Byrnes - The offense will look different than previous years in ways, with a Tim Tebow type attack. Even though I would love to see it, I think it will take a lot of folks stepping up to make this happen.
Rock Hill - It appears that there has been a resurrection of the Bearcat spirit on Highway 5 and many would be highly excited if the return to former glory is true. Many of us remember how Region Championships and Playoff Seedings were determined in the final week of the season at the District Three stadium on Cherry Road.
Region 1 #1 - T L Hanna
Region 4 #2 - Spring Valley
Region 3 #1 - Gaffney
Region 2 #2 - Byrnes
Region 2 #1 - Dorman
Region 3 #2 - Clover
Region 4 #1 - Rock Hill
Region 1 #2 - Hillcrest
Some others should join in the thread with projections in their regions/areas
