2A and 4A each only have 7 Regions. There will be a need for 2 At-Large teams to complete the 16 team format. I presume that the SCHSL is trying to figure out how to do new math.

Here is how 1A will determine their At-large Teams.
Information is at the bottom of the 1A bracket.

***At large teams will be determined by region winning percentage.
If two or more teams have the same region win percentage, the following tiebreaker will decide who gets the at large bid:
1.) Head to Head
2.) Overall Record
3.) Lowest number of defensive points allowed
4.) Flip a coin

That won't fly in 2A and 4A because some Regions have more teams, meaning more Region games. Then you may have a situation where 2 teams may have the same Region record and one played a 5A school and the other played a 1A school. In 4A, up north, they have 21 teams, while down south, we only have 19, and only 18 playing. (Beckham) And our Regions are 5,6, and 7 teams. Me thinks it is going to take some chinese arithmetic to figure all of this out. And that would be why no brackets are posted. One size doesn't fit all.

They are going to need more than a spreadsheet for this. This calls for a slide rule. They stopped teaching how to use one of those decades ago. NASA sent men to the moon using a slide rule. Actually, I am thinking about one of those ping pong ball blowers that they use for the lottery. That and a sharpie.......
