PFT is a mess.

The surveys are still choking the fun out of it but now there's a more insidious development.
Just in time for football is the site's inability to be able to reload the page when submitting a post. You have to submit your post and then manually reload the whole site in your address bar. Are all the bugs hammered out here? Because I'm gonna be PM'ing more folks on PFT about SCPrepTalk.

Things are going pretty good. We did have a problem with confirmation emails to new members, but SF Band Dad suspended the procedure. I've killed four SPAMs the past few days, but other than that.... it's all good

I've been having the same issues when posting or PM'ing at PFT.
All of the PM's I try to submit have an 'error' message afterwards, some still go, some don't.
I've been having to hit the 'back' button and try to re-submit.
Which occasionally will mean that the message was sent twice and I have to delete one of them.
It does it in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Yeah, it's definitely the site that's the problem and I tend to agree with MXDAD, it has to be because of all the ad traffic they're bringing.
So how's Easely looking this year?

All-in-all, things are going pretty good. It took my stepson (Chris) about a week to get everything working over here, but now it's running pretty well. (With the exception of e-mail functionality
) EHSMeanGreen has reported that he wasn't able to attach an XLS file to a PM, we haven't figured that one out yet, but that's kinda minor. Does PFT even allow attachments to PMs?

Yeah apparently you can attach a file on a PM though I never noticed it before.
I'm assuming at some point we'll be able to plug in some forum apps such as the blinking mailbox? No hurry btw.

I couldn't find that official mod but the board is written in php language which Chris knows. I'm thinking of asking him to edit the standard we_clear_blue template to make it blink.
At this point we can pretty much do anything we want.

I found it on the other website once. I believe there is an archive of apps that they keep though I'm not sure now that I think of it whether compatability with the new version is a sure thing.
If you haven't been to the phbb site yet, those guys are amazingly fast and helpful when it comes to answering questions like that. I posted several question on their forum last spring and they fire back within minutes with the answer. I felt at the time as if all that was holding us back was the ability to run our own show. You have mail btw.
