Waiting to see who Stall beats to complete this manure of stink! You could take at a minimum any two teams total points and that is what has been scored against them this season (Over 201 given up - 68-9 avg loss )! There should be a mercy rule for teams like them like in baseball and softball!!

one thing about our coach at Berkeley, he will pull off the horses , we could have beat ashley ridge by a great score but he put the subs in , the whole second half

I am hoping your playing Fort at the end of the season works in your favor this season. If you can keep the injuries, and COVID down, with the experience you always play them a great game. I consider this game as the only real challenge for them for the rest of the season before they get knocked out in the playoffs again.

I have nothing against Fort personally. I have seen Fort pushed a couple of times to the brink by teams that I thought on a given night were better. I know two years ago the team from Georgia was better and the clock operator gave the game away to Fort!! Yes, I will call it as I and two other coaches watched that travesty!! Fort almost was beaten by Berkeley at the Bambi Farm a couple of years ago and lost by one as I recall. They played well almost every time but most years have not had the depth or had injuries that kept them from competing equally. They may not like me saying this but remember they were technically an AAAA school playing in an AAAAA division in the past and did very well. When you become the bully on the block beating everyone by a big number everyone is looking for that savior to kick your ass. A coaching friend I knew use to shut it down once he got XXX points. He let his defense protect that lead. He didn't believe in embarrassing the other team or coach. It is demoralizing to a kid. Would you want to play on a team that has given up 220 points in the first 4 games?
Fort needs to find some hardcore competition and prepare to beat someone like Dutch Fork so you are battle harden like the Gaffney's, Dormans, Byrnes, Hanna's, and others that beat up on each other. It does no good to win 10 plus games and be the best in the low country if you can't get past the best the State has to offer and I don't mean just Dutch Fork. Then you will win another State Championship.
So with all that hot air out, I like the UNDERDOG most of the time in these contests. Personally, I know Steve and talk to him every so often and tease him about when he is going to retire, and his brother BJ was my wrestling coach in HS. I wish him nothing but the best as I do all my coaching friends, but I also like the exciting games instead of pig slaughters. Try not to take my post so personally. I only get pissed off if you attack my coaching friends!!

Dutch fork do far worse. When our games get out of hand the backups come in and play. Here is my thing about it all. The backups want to come in and score too. They work just as hard. Also me personally i want to still run my offense when the backups are in so in case a starter goes down or not performing the backup would be ready to go. Next man up. And i agree we need to play better teams. The cross bracketing with region 7 we gain nothing. I would keep goose creek and Berkeley and drop wando. But it is what it is. Before this pandemic we actually had dorman and myrtle beach on the schedule. We cant help our region not as tough. This team this year is way different the mentality is different. Its similar to our 2015 team. But again like i said above, Dutch fork do way worse. Tom knotts dont care. His thing is stop me. If not. It aint his issue.

Last night in the Abbeville game when the clock started with the second half kick-off it never stopped. It ran through change of possession, heck it kept running when the refs were talking about penalties. As a fan I understand the running clock rule though.
