Summerville at Fort Dorchester

Post by fdgrad00 »

Here we go again a winner takes all battle for the region 8 title. There are many storylines with this game. Summerville head coach and OC both came from fort as they come to bagwell stadium to take on their old team. Will summerville offense be able to score some points against a good fort defense? Can summerville defense slow down forts HPO with many weapons and speed everywhere? Those questions will be answered friday. Fort seem like they on a mission

Fort should win by at least 28 points...
The Wave defense has kept them in their games and is not bad.
But the Wave offense isn't very good.
So unless the Wave offensive coaches have been hiding a game plan that they haven't been showing this year this shouldn't be much of a game..

Go Wave.

We have a good shot at winning.
We need to be focused.
No offense but we need to bury them. Early and often.
All gas no brakes .

I think they will be focused. Region on the line. Last time they played the wave at home for region the wave won and celebrated on our field after being up big early. Not this time. All gas no brakes. We were flat and still put up 42 on a very good defense in west Ashley. Our front 7 is very solid too

Watched Summerville play twice and this will be a cakewalk after watching what they did to West Ashley. I tend to agree it will take Summerville a couple of years to catch up, and they had very little offense against WA and Stratford. 28 points probably is a bit on the low end with the game at Fort in my opinion, closer to 42 but we will see.

This is a rivalry game right? So all the records and all of the stats and numbers go out the window. I think this game might be closer than you think for atleast a half then again Summerville could shock the low country and put everybody on notice or it could be a blow out and be over by the 1st quarter i still wouldn't bet against summerville until after halftime

The Summerville offense is as weak as I have ever seen. I would be surprised if we even score. And because of our ineffective offense, our D is going to get worn down. I can see this one getting really ugly and being over with by halftime. I could see FD putting up 60-70. The only reason we won 3 games was due to a very weak region VIII. With Berkeley, GC and DF TO follow after this loss on Friday, I do not expect Summerville to win again this season. I will obviously be pulling for Summerville to make it respectable but would be surprised if we come within 30 points of FD. Just how I see it....hope they prove me wrong.
