35 34 fort wins.

Post by Fortfor5 »

We played bad.they had some to do with it.
Refs may have been the worst i have ever seen.kept them in it a few drives.
Plays after play cklock ran out for a td.atkeast 1 catch out if bounds other im not sure about. I bet we a had 10 10 or 15 yard penalties.a lot were timely.and a td called off.
We did what we jad to was ugly.
If a certain ref catches on fire ill cut the hose in half that sob will burn up. No way that bamfer shoukd be in any field period .i sincerely mean it.noone should have to deal with that.

This was the most exciting game I have seen in the Lowcountry in 4 years. The QB play from Summerville and the play-calling from Summerville must have totally confused the FD defense because they ran on them like no team other than Dutch Fork. Calling it as I do, Fort in the second half came out like a bunch of thugs and tried to intimidate and hurt the Summerville players after getting their asses embarrassed in the 1st half. There were more than probably 100 yards worth of penalties, a lot of them personal fouls for roughing the passer and other things. I want to see them try that with the big boys!! Remember that State runs through DF until they lose. They have home-field all the way to State and if they play the Championships at the Home team it will be at Dutch Fork too!

The bottom line is Berkely was just given the road map on how Fort can be beaten. I am honestly embarrassed by the thug way a couple of those kids acted. When you want to be a Champion, Act Like One!! No Class Tonight!! Sorry, it was too good of a game for all the BS that went on the field in my opinion. A few too many players would and should have been benched for their behavior, unless...

Congratulations to Fort on the conference championship and winning the game. But I'm very proud of the Wave tonight. We were way over matched talent wise but had a chance to win the game with 31 seconds left.
This Wave team has a long way to go but tonight I'm proud of the kids and Coaches they left it all on the field.

Go Wave...

Defensively, Summerville nor anyone in the Lowcountry still can stop Air-Laprad although for the first time in several years I saw the QB from Fort take several good hits and a few sacks. He is still a major weapon that hasn't been stopped. The Fort Offense made 3 quick unanswered TD which allowed them to get back into the game due to turnovers and punts. I commend them on their aggressive offensive play. They never gave up, but neither did Summerville who loss while going for a 2 pt conversion with less than 20 seconds on the clock. I was totally WRONG in my earlier prediction of this game being a blowout!! Summerville could be seeing a reemergence sooner than I imagined! Congratulations to both teams on a hard-fought game. Nobody deserved to lose this one!!

I totally agree, I told my partner in crime tonight we will see who the best-conditioned team is, and how much depth Summerville has in the 4th qtr. Summerville played I think their best game of the season tonight by comparison to other games I have watched this year! These kids were well prepared to play this game! These are the kind of games that Fort and Summerville need to return to prominence again. You don't have to win every time, but you need to become battle harden for when it really counts.

It was both ways on quite a few of those. Wasnt any saints on that field.player threw a punch was not penalized or ejected .two feet from referee.
That missed game ckock expiration really shifted momentum at that point.
Penalties kept thier drives alive on several occasions .
Was a very poorly officiated game .we didnt do our selves any favors . I doubt ill see a conglomerate of buffons like that agian . Shenanigans should be handled by refs from the outset they failed miserably at that aswell.

This is what we needed. Some adversity to over come. We did play sluggish early and often but when it was crunch time we made the plays and got the stops. Alot was against them as summerville played as if its a state championship game plus having 4 extra players on their side wearing stripes just like in the good ol days. Also to clear this up. Yes fort has their share of "bad boy" type. But you see that on almost all teams. Summerville no angel. They can jaw throw punches and not get flagged. Their qb taunt on their first td no call but goose creek and fort players got flagged for the same exact thing when they played
