I was just saying the same thing to a friend two days ago.
Either everyone is scared that if they get a positive China virus that they will be shutdown or the game has no region consequences so why risk injury. Daniel was supposed to play Hanna next week and I was hoping they would give us a game before playoffs to get us sharp but al we got was a cancellation and no one wanting to take an L and a beat down from them in the final week of the season . If they stunk and we’re 0-5 I bet there would be a line out of Pickens county to jump on . So nowthey have to sit next week and possibly the following as other teams cram 3 games into 2 weeks . But that’s safer somehow.

Agree Slick, but the tRumpf virus has created a backlog of games that have to be played to determine playoff teams and fill out the brackets. I wouldn't want a team of mine to be idle for 2 or more weeks before playing a game against top 16 talent.

I would be surprised in there are any more NON-REGION games played.

In reality, why would you? It doesn't do anything to your bracket position or even "in or out" for that matter.

All you are doing is taking unnecessary risks for a positive test or worse, a season ending injury. Play region games this week and the seedings would likely be done any way. Many of them are complete and just waiting to be played.

Hey Slick. My Beaufort Eagles welcome the chance to play these last 2 regular season games. Even though My Eagles are done with their Region Games and are Region 7 4A Champions. We could always use the extra practice playing these 2 non region games against tough competition to get us ready for the Playoffs. Beaufort has 2 tough games against Carolina Forest and Benedictine out of Georgia to close out our regular season.

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!

I believe region VII and region VIII are complete with all region play. The lower state playoff brackets are all locked in. If I were the coach of one of them teams, I would be preparing for the 1st round playoff team. These next 2 weeks are nothing more than scrimmages in prep for the 1st round of the playoffs. The hope for each team will be to keep everyone healthy in prep for the playoffs. With that said, bring on them bambis!!!! See you tonight Slick!
