Who Will Win in the Playoffs

A Coaching friend of mine recently posted a variation of the following post:

In the 1990s there was an experiment performed called Biosphere 2 that aimed to be a totally self-sufficient environment grown inside a huge dome in Arizona. Scientists would live in this dome and be totally self-sufficient, growing their own food inside the dome which contained 5 different ecosystems with no interference from the outside world.

Midway through the experiment, they made an amazing discovery. The trees that grew in the Biodome would grow and mature really fast but when they got to a certain height they would literally fall over toward the ground.

After a ton of research trying to figure out the problem, the answer finally came to them.

There was no WIND inside the Biodome!
Without wind, trees don’t grow the extra “stress wood” that is needed to give the bark and overall structure it’s strength as it matures.
The trees grew tall but had not encountered the winds they needed to make them strong.

Without the trials and tests in our lives, we too will never grow our “stress wood” that we need to become strong a Coaching Staff, a Winning Team, and a Strong Support Base and Community for your Teams.

Embrace the winds! They only make you stronger!!

With that being said I believe that the teams that have embraced the winds during this COVID season and have to listen to their coaches doing the right things and continue as the pandemic ramps back up will be the teams that see success over the next couple of weeks.

The team that scores the most points will win, that is my prediction for every game.

The team that can win 4 in a row will win it all.

It’s a simple game

Your run the ball
You throw the ball
You catch the ball

Got it!

Do you not believe in defense? Nothing about tackling.

Yes, that "tackling" part will be a huge factor.

Of course I believe in defense but that was a play on the locker room scene in the movie Bull Durham.
That being said sometimes your best defense is a great offense .
