Not Really Slick. I thought that we played Myrtle Beach Tough. Also we beat a very good May River Team this year.

Beaufort is heads and shoulders above any other 4A football programs in the Lowcountry. We are miles ahead of most. The Myrtle Beach game does indicate that we have a ways to go to be competitive at the highest levels of 4A in the state. It also showed that since the last meeting between the 2, that Beaufort has progressed, and is moving in the right direction.

Unlike Beaufort teams of the past that had moderate success, this team has a coaching staff that is not stuck in the mud, refusing to adapt to the strengths of our players. We finally have coaches that are willing to open up the playbook in order to give the team the absolute best chance for success.

If these coaches can continue to provide a platform for players to participate in without external influences affecting things, continue to encourage all eligible athletes to participate, and build a program that will draw attention from college scouts and coaches, then the sky, is the limit. Beaufort High has always had more than enough raw talent to compete, it has just been hamstrung by external forces that diminish participation, and create an air of adversity within the walls. I can honestly say that I see a very bright future for our Eagles.

Hey Newcat. You are just jealous because Beaufort had a great year and Bluffton didn't. . How long do you think Bluffton will keep their current Head Coach? The Bobcats have really been struggling lately in Football. Do you think it is time for a change or give their Coach a few more seasons? I saw where Coach Cribb's Wayne County Team struggled this season.
