When can I get the COVID-19 vaccine?

When can I get the COVID-19 vaccine?
By JESSICA ROY -- The Los Angeles Times
DEC. 15, 2020 -- 6:14 PM

There is no specific timeline yet,...But we do know who will have priority.
  1. Healthcare workers and people who live and work in nursing homes and other assisted living facilities. The highest-priority — front-line medical workers with direct exposure to the coronavirus
  2. ...essential workers. Officials have not yet determined exactly who qualifies as an essential worker in this tier, or in what order essential workers will receive the vaccine.
  3. ...other high-risk groups, including seniors and people with chronic health conditions.
The general public is expected to get access to the vaccine by spring or summer.

2. ...essential workers.
I sure hope they put teachers and other school employees at the head of that line. The children are at very low risk to catch or spread this virus, if we get a majority of the adults vaccinated we should be able to return to normal school schedules.

Mango Mussolini has most of the vaccine stored in secret warehouses for himself, his family, and his henchmen. We may never get a dose.....I can't wait for January 20th.

Otay Spanky, believe what you want. My daughter got her first shot on Friday. (She's an ICU RN.)

Apparently politicians are first in line. I suppose I was wrong in thinking that essential people would be first in line. Amazing how those in government, that make the decisions haven't been inconvenienced at all. Haven't heard of the first furlough, or cut in government expenses. Yet these clowns love to throw around their power and ruin small business all over this country. Is this flu serious? Sure. But all of this is as much an exercise in people control as it is anything else.

Since the virus started all the experts said that the
most vulnerable and likely to die from the virus
are older adults with health problems like me and
City Slicker. Why were these people not in the first
group to get the vaccine.Guess older folks are not that
important after all.where is the news media asking this question.
