I think they gave up on trying to find a 10th game so we have 4 home games and 5 away. No home games in the whole month of September and then after Pendleton we won’t have one until the playoffs.

West Ashley is an interesting matchup.... speed at the skill positions and have big games regularly with teams like Summerville, Stratford, Berkeley and Fort Dorchester. Of course Wren and BHP will come ready to play. Should handle the others.

I am curious to see how the game vs West Ashley will go hopefully we don't start the season on the wrong foot. Easley, Emerald, and Laurens are all teams that want to make a statement with their second year HC's so we better be ready to do our thing against them. Walhalla, Seneca, and Pendleton do not scare me at all. If BHP didn't make changes to their offense from last year then I would think our JV squad could beat them. Wren brings a lot back from last year on both sides and they bring in yet another transfer QB from TL Hanna. He has to go from an option offense to the pass heavy offense that Wren runs which could be a challenge but I won't say much on that matter until I see him play.

Yeah I was a little disappointed we couldn’t find another taker for game 10 . Oh well , the game with West Ashley should be interesting. I know they have a stud rb and a good lb . And they seemed to compete last year with everyone they played with the exception of Fort Dorchester.
The rest of the schedule is a cake walk I’m afraid. Hopefully we will run the table and get some home playoff games to offset the loss of a gate. Hope we lay the wood to Greenville In that scrimmage.

Not sure which QB from Hanna came to Wren...their starter? I think he was a 10th grader. Saw him throw the ball.. not sure if he completed a pass that game.

It was their starter. He wasn’t playing in the best conditions against your boys to begin with but we’ll wait and see what he’s about soon.
