Rush Propst officially out at Valdosta

Imagine if Propst got a job in South Carolina. The people around here would lose their minds. Unfortunately for him he's getting up there in age and this might be it for him in high school football. I could definitely see him at a place like Gaffney. Guaranteed it would be Gaffney versus Dutch fork every single year for the 5A crown until either Propst or Knott's retires. I know that nails on a chalkboard to some people but the truth hurts sometimes. Gaffney already wins with bad coaching according to "some" Gaffney fans. Imagine if somebody like Propst got a hold of um. Like him or not Propst can coach!

Good coach, and he does win. And as he, and others, have proven many will forgive some sins in return for a winner. But with the constant issues that follow him I just don't see how anyone at the high school level could hire him at this point. And the man does need a job. Supposedly he is broke, and owes a small fortune in taxes to the state of Georgia. He is 63, so hardly time to start in a new career direction. If he can stay in football one would figure that it would have to be as an analyst for one of his buddies at the college level.

The only way that could be better would be Bobby Bentley back in SC High School coaching again... is there anyone else that we could add to those three that are as hated as they are?

Where is Bentley now? I don't think Beamer retained him on his staff at any level, coach, advisor, offensive analyst, gofer...
