Let me hear your thoughts on your team's opening game of the regular season and your score prediction...

Dutch Fork opens up with Wren...over the last 5 seasons, DF has outscored their opponents in the opening game, 252-35. Using that is a guide, I am going Dutch Fork- 49 Wren- 7

Let me hear you....especially you, Slick....Berkeley vs Those Demons In Your Head....ha

Myrtle Beach vs Carolina Forest August 27th.

Myrtle Beach will probably lose this game by 2 touchdowns. The offense should be very good with returning College bound QB and Clemson committed Adam Randall

The problem early on I think with MB will be a young untested defense against tough 5AAAAA schools.

CF 35
MB 21

Good pick. Any of yu guys sleeping on those Panthers are going to get a rude awakening. Not sure that they can hang with Futch Dork, but they are as good as any other 5A team in the State.

Beaufort will get a big test in week zero against a very potent 7A Richmond Hill team from Georgia. We will find out then where we actrually stand as far as progress from last season's quarterfinal loss to Myrtle Beach. All signs point to better things for the Eagles, but our early schedule is loaded.

Daniel vs. West Ashley

I am not sure of what West Ashley brings to the table, but from everything I have seen and heard, they have speed and a good amount of depth. Daniel loses a lot of productivity at wide receiver, but have a lethal quarterback. Daniel also has a strong defense returning this year, especially up front. It will be interesting to say the least.

Daniel-35
West Ashley-17

Other predictions:
Dutch Fork- 70
Wren- 14 ( points coming in 4th)

Fort Dorchester- 49
Berkeley- 10

Gaffney- 49
Spartanburg- 45

Beaufort was very physical hard hitting football team. 5 more mins in that game I think they would have over taken Myrtle Beach. Most likely would’ve went all the way to State Championship. If those players return Beaufort will have a tremendous year this year.

Blacksburg vs Seneca Aug. 20th

Seneca: I honestly do not know anything about Seneca, this is the 1st time we will be playing them ( that I'm aware of). From the things I'm hearing, they have a good number of players that have came out all summer. Anyone with any info on Seneca, please feel free to fill me in; it would be greatly appreciated.

Blacksburg- The Wildcats are filling some major holes on defense, but return enough from last year that I believe they can be good on defense. The bread and butter for the Wildcats will be the offense this year. They are deep at the wing back position and deep on the O-line. Transfer QB from Gaffney is a very gifted athlete. Offense should be a strong point for the Wildcats.

As for a score prediction, I can't predict one. I am just hoping for a very competitive game. I am so glad football is back. Anyone with better knowledge than me on Seneca feel free to give some predictions.

Good luck to EVERYONE week 1!
