Daniel vs Greenville

Daniel wins 7-0. Both teams had talent but the difference was the lack of discipline on Greenville. They had a ton of penalties mainly on the OL. Daniel wasn’t perfect but they had a great second quarter and were in position to score but fumbled. Greenville then on 4th and 25 got all the way down to the red zone but on the last play Daniel won the 1v1 jump ball.

Not sure when the next time I’ll see the Lions on the field will be due to West Ashley having to pull out. They apparently hadn’t even started their fall camp but hopefully a replacement game will be scheduled for week 0. If not I will see Easley at home.

Super sloppy on both teams. Greenville has the talent to do damage in 4A but not the head. Pearman gifted that fumble for no reason . Needs to throw it away . That was almost a carbon copy of the fumble he had in the title game last year.
If we can start containing on the backside we’re going to be alright on defense. Gabe Smith is a baller . I like him more than Louisville commit kelly. That was about as bad as I’ve seen Daniel play in the last 3 years . A lot of guys in street clothes on the sideline. Greenville will probably be the most talented team we see other than Wren before the playoffs all year. Did catch the Pickens game beforehand. If you don’t think coaches make a difference well your dead wrong . Sitterle already has it going . They don’t have a lot of talent and speed at skill position. But they are big up front have a big hard nose fullback and are willing to hit . They will upset some team(s) this year because most people can’t handle that avalanche when it’s going right. I thing of beauty.

Glad to hear Sitterle making a difference with the Flamers...figured he would. "Big and Mean" will carry a team a long way. Need speed though...not much there around Glassy Mountain.
