Well I didn't want to say it...

Really nice game from Dutch Fork and it should’ve been worse. Plenty of penalties for Knotts to coach up. Wren was about as bad as I’ve seen them in 10 years . I had no idea they were that bad . Don’t get me wrong DF is great and you can tell they have that winners mentality, but wren atrocious. #17 wide out for DF is an impressive looking kid . Their qb #11 is not a great thrower good runner. #2 seems to be a better passer. The rbs are the best players on the team . Really finish off runs . Would like to see that Gaffney game next week . Wren had no size up front . They will struggle with Hanna next week as well.

.... How was the "hype"...was out at the farm with little reception, so only caught bits. Was 14-0 in the first and 49-0 in the third and I called it a night. Thought you said 2 or 3 TDs?

Wren was way overhyped i saw some of it .they were over powered .then gave up. Lbs db trying to arm tackle a good back spells disaster. Thier line was over matched aswell.

I don’t know if it’s your old age or Pickens education. But I said 35-14 give or take a Td either way. That means 35-21 or 42-7 . I was also very complimentary of Dutch Fork. Never have I said y’all were over rated . I even picked you to win this week by 2 to 4 tds if you run the ball and don’t have to throw. Going back to the Wren game if I knew how bad they were I would’ve definitely adjusted the score. The wren team that won 4A two years ago would’ve beaten that wren team by 4 tds. Btw their not the standard In 3a . Their our little brother as a Pickens alum you know how that feels.
You would’ve had your hands full with the lions . No wonder y’all beat Hanna last year , that qb was awful. He couldn’t carry Pearmans jock with a Mack truck . Plus we have big lines and depth . Would be a different game for sure . Would we win I wouldn’t go that far but you would know you were in a fight for sure . You did on Friday what we’ve done 5 times in 3 years . Beat up wren but the exception being those teams were much better than this years version.
