After 2 lightning delays before the game could kickoff, and a monsoon during the 1st half, the Bulldogs kept the Hedgepath Trophy over MC. The Bulldogs have now won 10 in a row over their cross county rivals.
All of the work for the Bulldogs was on ground by KJ Robinson tonight due to the conditions. Zach Chalmers added a fumble return TD on a botched double pass attempt by the visiting Rebels late in the game. QB Epps added a 1st half td.
The level of competition ramps up next week, as the Bulldogs welcome in the Panthers from Abbeville for a class 2A showdown. The game kicks off from Bulldog Stadium, Mike Ware Field next Friday night at 8. WKDK, who recently added a FM station, will have the broadcast.

Good win Newberry...see y'all next week let me know if they selling tickets at the gate. Got a few older people who aren't so Tech savvy so it's a few people try to help them out if it is totally electronic.

They did tickets at the gate tonight. I will say, the line on the visitors side got long. A lot of that had to do with the multiple delays. I would say get there early.
