Abbeville with a long clock eating drive to start the 2nd half comes up with no points. Botched snap on field goal trial. Newberry takes over but stalls. Abbeville fumbles punt. The Bulldogs get the ball DEEP in Panther territory. Drive to get fresh set of downs inside the Abbeville 5.

Definitely was hard fought game tonight Good win against a very good foot Phil coached team. War of attrition with numbers because players catching cramps like crazy

The int on the opening drive took a lot out of Newberry. You could see it in their body language. They were driving right down the field to open the game.
Another battle next week in Clinton. The Red Devils seem to be playing good ball to start the season.
Best of luck to Abbeville the rest of the way. Maybe we matchup again in the post season.
