Well, the only games that count are REGION games, so why play the others?

(remember that Sumter is all alone and has to go to Myrtle Beach three times and Conway once with the "revised" Region schedules.)

If it’s out of the area it’s just mostly players parents cheerleaders. A few spotted parents that’s about it.

At home games a lot of students who hang around looking at each other talking and running all about ignoring the game. But a decent crowd at times nothing to brag about.

Carolina Forest does ok and home games draw big crowds most of the time.

Carolina forest brought a decent crowd to fort Dorchester.

Not sure where that rumor came from. Sumter historically has issues finding opponents to come to Sumter. Sumter going on the road is at least an hour. We’re used to traveling. We’ve had home and homes with the following teams the past 15-20 years:

Stratford
Goose Creek
Wando
Rock Hill
Northwestern (one of those games was canceled)
Spartanburg
Gaffney
Greenwood

Not to mention we scrimmage Fort Dorchester every year. This also doesn’t include the Columbia area schools that are still at least in hour away not including Columbia traffic.

We’re on quarantine anyway. Ridge view game this week got canceled. Carolina Forest for next week pushed back a day to Saturday.
