Has anybody been following this story? If not, ESPN showed their game vs IMG Academy yesterday. BS claimed to have multiple players with d1 offers. They only had around 30 kids, and mismatched equipment.
Now, reports are coming out that BS played a game Friday night in Pennsylvania before playing yesterday. Also reports that some of the players have already played JUCO ball in the past, that the "school" doesn't exist, that the "coach" has active warrants for fraud.
Espn is passing the blame to a marketing firm that they hired to make the games. I watched the start of the game and quickly realized something wasn't right. I keep up with high school football nation wide, and when I saw a team that is shown as a national power playing that I have no clue about, I immediately start looking into it.
I have no clue how this happened. Espn said they couldn't verify the claims of BS, so I guess they showed the game strictly for the money. It's a shame this was allowed to happen, and I bet somebody will schedule this team again.
