While I agree that recruiting schools should be a separate classification, 1A Southside Christian is a little different from Oceanside, etc. It is also a faith based school. So that brings up another question. Where does that leave them?Blister wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 10:44 amRecruiting is a wonderful thing. Southside Christian has been a total non-factor in football for years until the last 3, or 4. Now, a 2A powerhouse. Another walking, talking, reason why the private schools, the Grays, Legions, Oceanside, etc., should be relegated to their own classification.

Southside Christian moved down to 1A last year and won the state championship. They were in 2A for a few years and usually lost to Abbeville in the upper state championship by very little.likeitRnot wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 11:37 amRebel-Fan-74 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 10:51 amWhile I agree that recruiting schools should be a separate classification, 1A Southside Christian is a little different from Oceanside, etc. It is also a faith based school. They are 1A...omg ...Size them up for rings now
Nah that would be Saluda. Southside Christian only made it to the upperstate once since 2015. I remember the night they beat Saluda to go to the upperstate for the first time. It was cold, rainy, and miserable for a Saluda fan haha. Outside of that year and last year, Saluda has been to the upperstate every year since 2015.BBurg_Wildcat 22 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 2:27 pmSouthside Christian moved down to 1A last year and won the state championship.
