Dutch Fork needs to play a game. Only 2 games thus far, and won't have their first home game until September 24th. Won't make it up to Gwood for this one. Never a good thing to give Tom Knotts two weeks to get ready for your team... but then again, you never bet on HS kids either...haha.
Curious to see how the Silver Foxes play. They were a bit out of synch on defense in the first quarter against Byrnes, understandably. Second quarter on, they got down to DF football. Offense doesn't seem to miss Hyatt, averaging 63 points a game, so we will see.

Time for my eagles to play the best SC has to offer currently. Until DF is beaten that's what they are. Much respect for DF and y'all have earned that. But I say bring it on.DFOLDMAN wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 7:17 amDutch Fork needs to play a game. Only 2 games thus far, and won't have their first home game until September 24th. Wouldn't want to have it any other way. In order to get to the top you have to play the best and see where you are. The Greenwood team is young and this is only the coach's second season at the helm, but boy does he have these kids believing and playing hard. This is the way it should be. Play the best that is available.

Appreciate yall for coming up to play us. This game will make Gwd a better team down the road especially before region. I'm just glad Liner and our coaches aren't scared to schedule tough teams. That's how you get better. Liner has actually said playing a bunch of easy teams can give you a false since of security plus you don't learn anything. Playing good teams expose your weekness.DFOLDMAN wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 7:17 amDutch Fork needs to play a game. Only 2 games thus far, and won't have their first home game until September 24th. Well said. Its the reason our coach laprad beefed up our schedule playing Carolina forest who a team on the rise, perennial power dorman and power myrtle beach in non region and all the reason why i keep saying its no point in playing teams like wando who doesnt pose a challenge when we can pick up a team who can make us stronger. Dutch Fork needs to play a game. It helps with the healing process and helps them focus. We need this game more than you realize. We appreciate the opportunity to play. Never know how things like this impact 15-17 yr olds but hopefully this will be another step in their growth, healing and maturation as a unit. I know Gwood will be ready to play ball.
